Not a good pic bit is a pic with the new wheels.
Should I do the calipers silver, white or red. I am not liking the idea of red but it is what everyone else says.
Also on back there are two calipers, parking and standard, parking brake black, silver or white, no chance I would do them red.

Personally, I'd paint them black (or leave them black if they are black already)! :-)

I've never understood why people want their brake calipers to stand out... To each their own, I guess...

They are badly faded black.
The big black tire/wheel is a bit much to me. Calipers are opposing piston with logos not single piston so they look good painted.

Doesn't that prevent the remote start from working?

I vote for silver (or a similar metallic color). It's visible without being ostentatious.

Yes, good point - that is a whole lot of black going on there... I've never been a fan of black wheel for that reason (I'm still stuck on chrome wheels). :-)

So yeah, in this case, I agree with Doug - I would probably go with silver...

With regenerative braking, brake dust is a reduced concern which is why I thought white may work.

No. Remote start still works. I guess the information on it says that it tricks the car into thinking the hood is open for a second........... I'm not exactly sure what difference that makes but that's what it says, and remote start works fine. Many people have installed it in a variety of vehicles and there haven't been any issues from anyone so far that I've been able to find. Pretty ingenious solution. And very personal responses from the owner of the company.
