Hi all,
New member to the site here. I am in the beginning stages of restoring a 1967 Impala SS 2Dr HT. I am hoping to pick the brains of those savvy on these B bodies as I learned what I know on F bodies. I am willing to share what I know what to help out as much as I am helped here.

Cheers!

MixedImpala04: yes the car is a complete numbers matching car. 283 2bbl, powerglide, SS. The car is in actual good shape considering it was a Massachusetts car. It needs floors all around, frame is 75% done, body panels need a little TLC for surface rust. The worst parts are the hood at the front lip, and the cowl area. That is going to be the big challenge. I don't have access to a donor car for the cowl, but one person, the only person in my area that has a 67 said he had the cowl where the bottom of the windscreen meets up, he had it glassed and it looks good. I have no experience doing fiberglass, so we'll see.

it all looks to be in great shape! to be honest, if your not sure get the body sodablasted. i had my truck sodablasted and it revealed all the dormant rust and holes i would have had to deal with down the road. it is worth the money you pay to have it done. mine was done for 600.00 total. and im sure if you look hard enough you can find a 67 donor car. anyways good luck and if you have any questions just ask! iv'e worked on and owned many of these impala's.
