Intro 67 Plus
Bought my 67 Impala in 1979 rusty 12 years old.
Bought new hood fenders, and inner fender wells. Had a splash and dash paint job done, put on a trailer hitch and went on our honeymoon in my parents camping trailer ending up in Canada's East coast.
Got new quarter panels and found the area below the windshield was in rough shape. Just filled it with bondo... Years later a complete restoration repaint.
Currently sitting on a 68 Impala Station wagon frame with 4 piston Corvette style calipers, that was acid dipped and epoxy enamelled. Big block springs up front and cargo coils in the rear.
Car started out with tired 283, then had it rebuilt fully balanced etc.
Ran real sweet for a few years till a 100 degree day in traffic when the engine overheated and was toast.
Full restoration taking 3 years.
Decided on a 350 crate motor. along with a 3 speed Th 350 transmission.
Recently added Classic Auto Air with Aluminum rad.
