Hey all , Hello from Alberta

Just starting this restoration , so your forewarned lol, I'll be asking for help along the way , and thanks in advance .;
Picked up a 1970 4dr hardtop .. 350 300hp . I'll start a post in the area for this car , and look forward to suggestions on the work to be done ..

Thanks .. yep .. plan on a gloss black also .. not sure on what I'm going to do with the vinyl top yet ... I'm getting .. remove it .. paint it ..or .. coat it with a product .. apparently bullet proof .. to seal it .. then paint it ..

What part of Southern Alberta are you from ? ( I'm in Cochrane )

If it's a "restoration" then leave the vinyl roof and try to restore or refurbish it.

If it's a "restomod" then ditch it.
That being said.
There may be some nasties living under it, depending where the car lived it's life.

Keep us posted along the way and a few more pics of what you have now would be nice. Front end chrome and hood look pretty nice.

Some things are better left unsaid, which I generally realize right after I have said them.

Have friends in Cochrane .. I'm a little further south .. Stavely . I sourced a black replacement top ..so after I get all the mechanical updated , plan to include that in the body work ..

Progressing along .. sandblasted and repainted .. most of the parts in hand , so will start the rebuild tomorrow .
