So i have another built thread going on gmbbodyforum.com but i thought i would post up here as well.

little back story car had been abandoned since 1995 at a a few residences here and there in town. I was able to snag it with a broken th200 trans in it for 500 bucks. Didnt have a title but found the Gal that owned the car and she signed the title over to me free and clear as long as i didnt crush it or turn it into a derby car. I gladly excepted and the past 2 1/2 years its been slowly coming together.

first it had a stock smog small block in it. put a "built" th350 in with a 2600 stall converter, took the quadra junk off and put a fitech efi throttle body on it in 2015 along with a complete fuel system including a Aeromotive A1000.

2016 got super busy with dirt racing and traveling with it, so the car sat and i traded my brother the fi tech for a complete 4.8ls with harness. like a said the car sat all year long didn't move at all. Time didn't allow for it.

2017 things changed in my personal life and i realized that this thing needs to be done so my little girl can be happy and enjoy it

she named the car "OH" and has every intention of making it her first car ever. This car has come to represent more than just a build or an old classic to keep from the scrap yard... it represents imagination and childhood happiness

So skip to 2017-18
spent all summer working on it. tore the engine apart put a BTR cam, dual valve springs, push rods, cam, mls head gaskets and arp head bolts. Also installed new timing chain, chain guide, 25% pulley. and a Holley 302-2 oil pan. put dual drains in the front timing cover for turbo drains and put a brand new Borgwarner S475/83 t4 turbo on. used the factory truck intake with 80lb injectors and got everything tuned. did put a Holley mid rise on it an a 92mm tb. taking that off an going to a TBSS intake instead
Did Just move the the engine coils to the frame rail because it kept eating plug wires. So we shall see how that goes.

now the car is getting a TH400 with a 2800 stall converter and i swapped out the factory 8.5 gm axle for a 8.5 BOP with factory C clip eliminators
Just installed a set of Moser axles and a LWP diff cover this weekend along with a S-10 factory disk brake conversion.

Big thank you goes out to a friend of mine that i met through the gmbbodyforum he gets me all the body parts i have needed for this car. including nos front marker lights and 2 front head light buckets in mint condition i couldn't make this car what i wanted to without him and a big thank you to all the guys on that forum that have helped me too!!!

figured out these intakes were not built for truck accessories. so 1" 4 port carb spacers were needed to clear the idler pulley and belt.

new BOP LPW diff cover
also welded up the axle tubes to the carrier housing this weekend.

Goodies from Moser Engineering came in this past week and we got them installed this weekend

Scored a free 2002 ish s-10 blazer rear axle and was able to get the entire brake assemblies off of it. So as of right now i'm $85 into the rear disk brake conversion!!

got the trans cross member modified brake system put back together and bled. trans cooler and lines flushed out. just need to fill the trans full of fluid and start it.

15x10 5.5 offset should work better, probably at 6" is the best but 5.5 will defiantly work unlike the 6.5

so if any one needs some weld wheels i got a pair to sell :)

Well last night had a sucessful test drive. no fluid leaks at no other issues. car makes about 15psi and stops on a dime.

these 4:10's woke it up big time. now just need to get some 28 10.50s and it should be alittle better for street driving.
still need to swap the intake over and get the tune dialed in but it should be fun from here on out.

not much of an update. drove the car some this past week then it snowed again so i parked it. in process of swapping out the holley midram for the tbss intake with holley rails.

out with the old

in with the new.
little cutting, bending, drilling and tapping and the holley rails fit like a glove

well took the car to get the tune finished ran into some unexpected issues. ended up swapping out injectors.

but i did get longer wheel studs installed and new lug nuts for the rear tires/wheels. sitting on the floor this girl is mean... pictures do no justice to the look this thing has

should have a set of 80lb Delphi injectors up for sale soon if anyone needs a set

#21 ·
injectors in, car starts runs an drives. tune is very Conservative have a few spots of lean idle to clear up and it should be making power.
did get the rear rotor hats and calipers painted this weekend and a nice wash job

been a while, car has run good didnt make it to dyno it yet. been working 16hr days

picked my munchkin up on the last day of school 2 weeks ago and the back up a1000 fuel pump died. previous a1000 died the week before (it lasted 1.5 years) by then i had already sent off my a1000 to get the eliminator upgrade through Aeromotive.

system needs a -12 pickup so i went with a cell and new supply and return setup -10 from the pump to the rails and -8 return

[/IMG]horrible paint oxidation, car hasn't been buffed since 1995 (last time it was plated before i owned the car) at the very least.
you can see the sunlight reflection right above the door handle just about 4" up little light blurred spot.. i know the car looks dirty right there but that part had already been scrub washed and what your seeing is all the dirt an crap in the open pores of the paint that wont come out.. heres a shot of the rear panel i just buffed
