This is pretty nice and its cool to be one of the few turbo impalas and those are pretty nice numbers

But i do have couple of questions
- What made you want to go STS instead of a under the hood set up?
- Have you had any issues with the STS scraping? (my Front mount intercooler has hit something and or scrape more then once )
- What size turbo did you/they use
- Have you invested in a trans rebuild?

CaStylin - Lots of show... Even more go
~1968 Impala - 327, more to come soon
~1979 Monte Carlo - Stock for now
~2003 Impala - T61 Turbo, intercooler, Plog, much much more

No real updates just enjoying the car and weather when ever I can.

As for the kit, I am not sure what sixe the turbo I know STS said it is a T60 and I have not had any issues at all. As for why, I believe it was based on budget to horsepower. The STS is super simple and easy and makes great power the more I beat it up the fast it gets and it being in the back it cools down really nice and I am ready for more racing

But I am avery happy and no issues to report. what turbo are yopu running

What was the cost roughly in parts? and did you have to do anything to beef up the transmission?

Iím running the Cartuning T61 Turbo set up ... its 1 of the 3 turbo kits that are available for my year Impala... they make one for your LS4 impala as well and it puts down some great
and
on stock engines Their product is decent and appears to be improving as time moves forward but personally I do not like the company because there complete lack of customer service

The stock 4T65E is not a strong transmission even in the HD version which come in the Ď04 to current SSísÖ Iím not sure if boosted06 as upgraded the trans but every impala that I know that is boosting over stock levels (04/05 SS has Supercharger boost) has invested into their trans and usually from Triple Edge Performance which specializes in the 4T65E
