I just fixed it yesterday. I don't get on much these days, but please feel free to let me know of any of these issues and I will try to fix it. The Photobucket thing is a pain, but I switched to lensdump.

I still get my PM's, I don't have access to the resources I used to so I'm not much help with solving car problems. But I can solve issues with posts here

Wanted to thank Kingnutin for this step by step on how to change this turn signal out. Just changed my son's 2007 Impala because of the brights coming on after turning. I ended up putting tape on the 1/4 wrench that holds the torx bit for getting that bottom bolt out of the turn signal, made it a little easier. Thanks again for your write up!

Lets get started. First tools, what I used: 1/4 driver, T25 torx bit, 1/4 end wrench, needlenose pliers (optional), and a small flatblade screwdriver.
First pull the tilt adjuster off, nothing holding it, just pull outward.
Remove the plug piece by the ignition switch
Remove the torx screw in the bottom of the column, front most hole. No idea what the others are for
Pull down the panel under the column, just a little, there are screws holding it at the bottom, but you just need a little room.
Remove the bottom column trim, just pop the clips apart at the front, then push back and wiggle, as shown it is held with hooks in the rear.
Remove the top trim, you have to finagle it around the ignition switch a little.
Remove the top torx screw holding the switch.
Now the lower screw, this is where the wrench comes in. There is no clearance without removing the wheel, I find this may be a serious pain, but easier than removing the wheel. The pliers come in here as well, once the screw is loosened you can turn it easier with them.
Pull the switch off the column.
Remove each of the 3 plugs using the screwdriver on the tabs.
And that's it! Put everything back together in reverse order. The column trim is a serious pain to get back in place, but be patient and look closely, and you'll get it.
In 2018, you're still a life saver for this one lol. Thanks!
