I bought a new 2015 Impala. I will be storing it for the winter. As I always have on my other cars, I just park it in the corner of the garage (not heated) and put a charger on it every couple of weeks, depending on the weather.
Now it looks like I have a cover over the battery. Car is a V6. Can't see the battery terminals. Suppose I have to remove the cover or is there a way to charge it without removing the cover?:dunno:

There are two tabs on the cover at the top you just push in and pull up. It's mainly there to keep dirt and other crud from getting in. Most newer cars are using these covers I have seen.
Thanks for the info. I should have looked a little closer.
I hate "yanking" on stuff, might hit the "self destruct" button.
