Yeah..I noticed that different grill with the ACC...and made damn sure I wasn't getting it when ordering at the dealer. Didn't want the KIA look on my Impala...just so it could adapt to something I didn't need in the first place.

What's interesting is that I've never seen an Impala with this grill on any dealer lots around my area...and several dealers are very large dealerships. Seems that they're just not ordering them as stock on their lots. In fact..I have never seen one on the road either.

I haven't torn into my 2ltz, but I see lots of plastic behind the chrome --

Does this vehicle or any 2014+ impala have the aero stuff that will block out the grill at highway speeds?

Does anyone know if the auto dimming mirror can be installed on a car that didn't have one from the factory?
I have a well equipped 2015 LTZ2, and was surprised to find it didn't have the auto dimming mirror. I thought no big deal, and ordered one. Once I got the cover off, I discovered the square connector was missing! Seems strange they would use a different wiring harness?

The dimming mirror was part of the convenience package.

I already knew that. My question is how to add the mirror to a car that didn't come with one. It seems all that is needed is power to the mirror, since the mirror just uses a light sensor. It is strange that the square power lead is not standard to allow the upgrade.

I was giving that info because you said you had a well equipped LTZ2 and was surprised it didn't have the auto dimming mirror.
I don't have an answer for you, our 2LT already had the auto dimming mirror.

Here is the build sheet. You will notice towards the bottom option 2 "LZ", PKG 2(2LZ).

And option D31, which is the standard mirror.
