front rotor vented?

been a while since i did the fronts. all the pics are showing a hole/vent in the rotor and i dont remember that






i want to stick with ACD..original lasted 100K and 77K on replacements

2 RSA for sale. 7/32 good tread. berks county PA

166K on 2014 Blue Ray Metallic 2LTZ with 19s and nav. sadly new trans at 140K. Used to own 1995 DCM SS with only 260K!

Both Front and Rear Rotors are vented on the Impala, that is what all the vanes are. If you are referring to the greenish round circle on the surface, that is not a hole or vent. It is just a mark on the surface that is most likely a inspection mark, it will come off the first time you hit the brakes.

You may want to check RockAuto for a better price.

^+1. And the "small" 6th lug hole is for the T-30 rotor retainer bolt/screw.

That one turned out to be a bugger trying to get out on the front right of my 2008 LT !

just drill them out. thats what i had to do. even with the right tool, couldnt get it out 1st time i tried
