Would definitely take Doug's advice and take a look through the glove box and see if you can get to it. No way I would pay a dealer for a job like this.

No idea how similar the glovebox and dash are to the 8th gens and how tight it is to get to the actuators. I have had to replace one actuator in our 2012. I could see 2 of the other actuators, luckily the one I had to replace was the easiest one to get to, but I am sure I could get to the other 2 if I have to. It is tight, especially for someone with larger than average hands, but in our 8th gen(2012) I did not see where anything had to be removed.

My 6 year constantly asks why. What adults can learn from 5 and 6 year olds, to listen with your ears and mind open. Hard to learn when you don't listen ......

It blew out normal most of the drive this morning then went to itís blowing but not blowing mode! Car got warm so I turned fan up and temp down and heard fan spinning faster but no air coming out. Need to dig into that actuator.

I see a few actuators listed. I am assuming they are on passenger side of car #15 & 16

Note there are two number 15's, one each side. Those are the hot/cold blend actuators.

Number 16 is the vent selector, the one you want, and it's above 15 on the right.

Also note number 14. I believe that is the recirc actuator. On the gen8's, it's the same part as number 15. Not sure about the gen9 cars. It's behind the glove box on gen8's, and appears to be there in the gen9 pic.

If your socket set is all the same brand, you might be a city slicker.

So today the compressor must not be kicking on because the temp coming out is the same on low as on 70. Ugh so tired of this crap!

Well, maybe your a/c wasn't on...

I just found out this little GM hinky behavior on my Sierra 1500, haven't really checked the pala but I'm assuming they work the same...
I mean the dashboards are almost identical, and I haven't found any difference in the climate control functions between the two.

So here's the deal:
If I turn the system to RECIRCULATE the A/C comes ON regardless (although I believe I can turn it off but must do so manually and it may go to fresh air if I do?).
But if I turn it to fresh air IF I didn't have teh A/C on before it may actually be what turns it off...
So there's some kind of default behavior going on in there, between fresh air and recirculate.

Recirculate = Automatic A/C ON
Fresh Air = Turns it off if it was off before going to recirculate (I believe).

With fresh air mode:
I have to push the round blower fan speed button IN until that orange light comes on, shouldn't take much but if that little LED-like orange blip isn't lit then the A/C is off ...
If the A/C was ON before switching to recirc then it should still be ON when I come back to fresh air...
But if it wasn't ON then recirc will force it ON but coming back to fresh air turns it OFF.

Found that out the other day, I wondered same as you why is it blowing hot air?
