WiFi strength display vs. temperature display

Hi Everyone - first time poster! 2018 LT owner.
This may seem like a petty complaint, but it's driving me nuts. I don't pay OnStar for WiFi service. But in most of my screens on the infotainment center I get a display of WiFi strength but NOT a display of the outdoor temperature. The temp. display (or rather lack thereof) has safety implications. Last week it happened to dip below freezing on my long commute to work and I very nearly crashed on black ice. I don't feel that knowing the strength of a WiFi signal that I do not use was very helpful to me in that situation. I *DO* feel knowing the outdoor temp might indeed have helped. Is there any way to swap one display for the other?
Thanks!

Did the car previously ever show outside temperature?
Check your ambient temp sensor..
Try a reset...press ac/recirculation buttons at same time..
Ever got the warning in the DIC...About icy condition?
2018...should still be under warranty..

Thanks for your reply! It's not a warranty issue -- it's a design issue. Half of the screens display the temp just fine, but in, say, the podcast screen when I'm using the software that links my phone to the display it chooses to dedicate the available screen real estate to the useless WiFi strength meter instead of the useful temperature display.
