Question 2007 LT TPMS will not reset

Hello all!! I purchased a 2006 9C1 Impala that was totaled by an elderly driver. I just purchased a 2007 LT and the tire pressure light was on. The mechanic reset the system and everything work OK for a day or so. I was showing the right rear tire was not reading. I checked all the pressures and all were OK. I attempted to relearn the tire location and and inflated all of the tires to 39-40 psi, now it will not recognize any of the tires. Any suggestions?

Try asking in the 8th gen thread, This is for new style 2014-2019 Impala. Maybe you need to replace the TPMS valve stems. Anytime I get new tires I have them replace those.

Thank you for the information. I will direct my question to the correct group. I was thinking about the TPMS Sensors too.

I read an article about bad valve stems can make the system fail. The stems for these have little sensors in them and with winter and salt they go bad if not replaced.
