I bought the black front and bowties off ebay, brand new, for $42.

Then I went to a car repair shop (called allies? can't remember, sign was yellow and starts with an A) and asked if they would do it for $20. They did it in 5 minutes for free!

Btw the dealer is charging you a full hour's worth of labor at $150. massive rip off. never go there again.

btw 2 - my 17 premier has the iridescent pearl tricolor with amazing dark (might be illegal) tint, so the black bowties really complete everything

Our car was in the shop to fix some hail damage on the trunk lid. I bought the black emblems (since the emblem was coming off the trunk anyways) they replaced the back one and they also offered to put the front one on for free. I told them ok and they drove the car in the back and in less than 10 minutes pulled it back out with the front one on. They handed me the stock front bowtie and it was in good shape. They said they just reached up behind the grill and pinched the tabs and it came right off then popped the new one on.
I think I paid about $85 for the black bowties.

Yeah that's ridiculous. Just get the bowties with the voucher and then we will walk you through it. Back one is just held on with 3M adhesive tape. Front one, is removed as described above.

Yeah, I went to a local chevy dealer today and they were out of stock with the emblems, so I have to pick them up on Wednesday. It's sickening how much they charge for labor. Anyways, yeah, I would greatly appreciate you all for walking me right to it. I hope it's not to hard to do.

Under a half hour to do. For the rear emblem, I used a couple of pieces of
tape to mark as reference. Then used a blowdryer and dental floss.
If you have the standard grill, you can do what has been mentioned above.
I have the ACC grill, there are previous threads on what people have tried. I adapted an idea I said on YouTube and used a thin wire and a coping saw blade.
