tried again today, no dice. They come on fine until the car gets turned on... Double and triple checked the connections. Gues I will try leds or buy new dust covers and try regular bulbs. Thanks again for all the info. Really appreciated it.

If your headlights are also your daytime running lights (DLR) you will need a relay kit for these to work correctly. To prove that is the problem turn off your DRL before you start the car and then turn on the headlights with the switch while the car is running. If they work you will need the relay kit that gets 12 volts from the battery. When your DRL are on you are getting less then 12 volts to the headlights and that messes up the ballast for the HID lights. When you turn on the headlights by the switch that sends 12 volts to the ballast.

I had the same problem with my Chevy Cruze and the relay kit solved the problem. Hopefully this helps you.

No need for their DRL voltage converter or warning light canceler. Order their 9012 kit and "plug and play" that simple. Im glad I waited until there was a solid LED unit available and didn't drill holes in my covers to fit outdated HID technology. Their 6k LED units match nearly perfectly with the factory LTZ DRL kit on my 14 2LT. Give VLEDS a serious look if you want to upgrade your halogen bulbs to LED technology.

The problem I have is even with the dust covers on over my leds I still get condensation. How do you prevent that?

Did you have any issues with condensation? Its like a rain-forest in each of my headlights. Its dry as a popcorn fart here but looks like a fresh shower inside the headlights...

I never had any condensation issues before some idiot backed up into me and I had to replace the right headlight, now that one gets a wee bit along the lower edge. From what I can gather from research that I did is the seams may not be perfect and the only way to fix it would be remove the headlight and bake it in an oven.

Im done, they look nice but now I've got the relay buzzing like a angry bee. Feels like an electric shaver. Just going to replace the dust covers, and get the brightest halogens I can and go that route. Wasted enough time and money on this.
