Have a 2015 LTZ. Overall runs okay, except for the God awful infotainment system. The FM radio sputters like it has a speech impediment, the GUI design is ridiculous. The announcements for Toll Booth can not be turned off (I live in Chicago, I know where the toll booths are). You have to take your eyes off the road to perform many of the functions, the promised software updates have never materialized. I think my software engineer son could design a better product when he was 12. If electronics are important to you, I'm sure there are other cars that run as well, but have vastly better systems.
By the way, Chevy was so reluctant to improve their electronics, that they gave me a free extended warranty instead!

Plus, that same engine and trans are in a bunch of other GMs. That's why I believe the vibrations issues are related to the way the engine and/or trans are mounted in the 9th gens - or some of the mounting hardware is "bad" - or something along those lines... Because this does not seem to be an issue in other 3.6L LFX / 6-speed trans GMs that use the same engine/trans.

Regarding the percentages, I think the percentage of people having "vibration" issues (both at idle and at 1500rpm) is where the percentage is much higher than 17%. The poll is only regarding the one specific vibration issue @ 1500rpm - there are actually 2 separate, but equally troubling vibration issues with some of the 9th gens...

Yea thats what i was thinking, something along the lines of mounts.

I dont know why people dont test these things out before they buy a car but I prefer to use android auto or car play. No issues with radio stations i listen to either. May just be stronger signals from station where i live.

Radio sounds fine on our MyLink system as well. I can control volume, changing channels, changing sources, changing songs on the SD card, play a specific song, artist or album, answer calls and texts and ask siri questions all without taking my eyes off the road.
MyLink works great for me.

this is my 1st car without an antenna and i hate that!how much does it cost to put one on. i love the days in my jeep where i can get much better reception.

whats really bizarre is farther i get, clearer the FM gets (this is 50 + miles out). i guess because higher elevation. but super annoying that my ancient vehicle gets better FM than a new one.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of these "in window" antennas either. In my opinion, they are putting form over function. I'm sure that it's *way* more expensive to put the antenna in the back windshield, so it's not a money thing - I guess they do it in order to avoid having a physical antenna, which they consider an "eyesore".

Thankfully, I don't really listen to the radio anymore! :-) With all of the other options (CD, XM, iPod, Pardora, thumb drives, SD cards, etc), I just don't have any use for FM anymore. The above "sources" all offer higher audio quality as well.

I really am enjoying my 2016 LTZ. I've only driven it 2600 miles. It gets admiring comments frequently. Totally optioned out. I wanted to get the Camaro, but my wife talked me out of it ( this time ). The LTZ is fast , comfortable and a very comfortable and luxurious interior.
I did have a couple of minor issues with the headrest on the passenger side having to be replaced after the underneath where the covering is connected and tucked in wouldn't stay after a couple of unsuccessful repair attempts. Also the lumbar on the driver side didn't work. It was repaired at the dealer. A bad connection I think was the problem. Other than that I think it's a really nice car. Gas mileage is good too.

They really are nice cars inside and out. Its hard to believe its a "Chevy" at times. I don't agree on it being a fast car at all. It moves pretty good for its size. But, needs a bit more oomph. Especially when you have 3-4 passengers and AC running. You should have got the SS. Still kicking myself for not getting it. You still have 4 doors. That thing is a total beast. Pulls like a freight train and keeps going.

Ha you think the impala is bad, the ss is worse. They are sitting on the lot here and can't move, even one that is sold. Recalls that have no fix.

I read about that. Something about the seat belt could come undone in a crash. Fix was suppose to be made this month or next I believe. But, yeah. Pretty serious recall with that going on.

Actually I believe it was the seat weld and the SEAT could come undone.

GM Issues Stop Sale On 2016 Chevrolet SS | GM Authority

Recall Details

The defect: the driver’s seat belt tensioner cable may be repeatedly bent over the seat side shield as the driver enters and exits the vehicle causing the cable to fatigue and separate.

The hazards: if the tensioner cable separates, the driver may not be properly restrained in the event of a crash, increasing their risk of injury.
