Did the bulb that was replaced suddenly stop working?

Did you replace the bulb with a known GOOD bulb?

Did you check the fuse for that circuit (see diagram in the vehicle owner’s manual)?

Does your year vehicle have a switch or setting that can turn-off the illumination of the dome light bulb when one of the doors are opened (check owner’s manual)?

^+1. Is the manual switch off on the dash or at the light itself?

Switches used to get corroded, but I have not seen that for a long time.

Can you manually turn the light on with the dash switch?

Does it chime with key in ignition and door open? May be a stuck or bad door switch.

My 6 year constantly asks why. What adults can learn from 5 and 6 year olds, to listen with your ears and mind open. Hard to learn when you don't listen ......
