Brakes on 2014 Limited LTZ

Car: 2014 Impala Limited LTZ

I am looking to upgrade my stock braking system to slotted rotors and better pads. Are the rotors on my 2014 the same as the 2013 (and 2012)? Besides the 2015 and 2016, what year(s) and model(s) interchange with the 2014 Limited LTZ?

The reason I am asking is more than a few aftermarket manufacturers of performance brake parts either say they don't have anything for the 2014 Limited LTZ or are just confused by the question ("...what do you mean Chevy made two different Impala bodies in 2014?..."). No one has been able to definitively provide model #s of rotors for me to order. I won't name companies, but two of them I can guarantee are well-known.

Also, looking for recommendations for retailers with best pricing on the English-, American- or Canadian-made rotors (no Chinese stuff, thanks).

Help?

I know this post old but there were 2 different body styles for 2014. However, did you find a nice brake & rotor setup? I drive hard and the stock brakes are garbage

Your limited would be an 8th gen body and would be the same as the 12 and 13's. I am using autozone ceramic max with the stock rotors. The cmax are an upgrade over the stock pads. At 151,000 I just did the backs and the rotors were at +/- .556 with a little bit of light scarring in the surface on the passenger side, was able to have them turned. Car stops straight and very well. Has been noted by some that there are issues with warping with aftermarket rotors and more specifically with slotted rotors. Next time I replace pads, obviously with the lifetime warranty will keep with the autozone pads and likely will go with new rotors.

My 6 year constantly asks why. What adults can learn from 5 and 6 year olds, to listen with your ears and mind open. Hard to learn when you don't listen ......
