Remove Engine Cover

I noticed that the engine cover appears to be 2 separate pieces. I tried to remove them without much force so I don't break them. Not sure what's holding them down, can't see any screws or clips.

How do I remove them?

Thanks.

Which direction to pull? Forward, backward, side, straight up?

Straight up. There is a little "resistance", but once the oil cap is removed, you can pull it straight up. Start at one "corner" and work your way around - there are about four "clips" that hold it on once the oil cap is removed.

The covers from my '12/'13's were removed 5yrs. ago when I installed/plumbed oil catch cans. Been residing in the cellar ever since, lol.
