I have a 05 impala (sons car). The blower was not working so instead of checking I just replaced motor. Well to no avail. I have tested fuse and getting a solid 12 volts. I get no voltage to the motor, so I plugged the module and checked. Only getting 9.5 to 9.7 to the module which I know is low. Not sure where to turn next as I have no idea where the power source comes from. also, shouldn't I still be getting 9.5 to the motor harness if the module is working correctly?
I too have the same problem. To keep heater motor working over the winter I wired it to the cigarette lighter. It only runs on high, but at 15 below I'm at work before it gets too warm in the car. I just put in a new resister and it still doesn't work. I'm getting perfect voltage to the resister but only milivolts to the motor.
