At slow speed, the engine waves

HI!
In my 305 how does the engine heat up on idle gear the engine starts gently waving ... where should i look for the cause?
Any suggestions and hints?

Not exactly sure of your question here. If your asking about as your engine warms up it is surging on RPM's, that is the idling RPM's go up and down slightly then I would first check that the vacuum lines are intact, then check/verify that the spark plugs are not needing to be changed. Is the fuel fresh? Old fuel can cause this issue as well. Is the "Check Engine" light on and if so have you had the codes read from it? Last thing might be that the ECM may be starting to loose the EPROM chip. Reason I say that is a friend of mine has a TBI GM truck and it had a failing EPROM chip that was causing his to surge while idling, especially as the engine warmed up.

Hope this helps
Kenny

Sorry but I do not speak English well and therefore my question is not clean ... it is that as soon as the engine warms up and works calmly it will feel a gentle ripple.
