Are you gonna drive it much? If you want a streetable car, then you want to stay away from stuff that doesn't like any surface that isn't pool table perfect.

4" wide fronts may be fine at the drag strip, but how will they hold up on city streets? Extremely narrow tires and extremely low profile tires aren't very street-friendly.

If you limit yourself to 18" diameter wheels, you won't be white-knuckling it every time you go over a speed bump. Maybe 20's. But keep in mind, if you're putting a heavy BBC up front, you're gonna want some cushion on the front wheels.

Also, keep in mind, unless your wheels are made out of some exotic alloy, such as unobtainium, that toothpick spokes aren't very durable and will bend easily - much more easily than wheels with more meat between the hub and the rim.
...
FWIW, every time I see a car with "extreme" wheels on it, I try to study as it moves thru traffic around me. All too often, I see run out, indicating that they're bent, likely because they ran over something that my 18's wouldn't flinch on. You shouldn't have to slow down for pebbles

HTH.

If your socket set is all the same brand, you might be a city slicker.
