I tracked down my oil drip, which is a more steady drip now
Looks like my rear main seal is bad. The car sat for a year, but the leak has gotten worse the past few days. Would you put in the lucas oil additive and hope that it fixes it in the short term? The car has 190k on it, so I don't know what I should do.
Found a mechanic down state some that will do it for $150. Should I try to do it myself or just pay him to do it if I go that route.
Taking it to a mechanic that does work on the side on sunday. $200 bux and it should be fixed.
What plugs/wires/distributor cap would you recommend for this High Mileage beaut? I don't think its had a tune up in quite a long time. What else should I look at replacing while I am at it.
Fwiw I am getting my parts from Car Quest(get a discount).
Better idea would be to court you into selling that gem you have. Course I would have to get a second mortgage to afford it.
