Trip to PBIR for Test and Tune 6-13-2012

Went out to the track on Wednesday for a little test and tune action... Car was a tenth off of last time I went out, but it was WAY hotter and WAY WAY more humid so I guess it's to be expected... Next step will be Beehive Springs and 1.6 Roller Rockers

... just got done doing some reading on the 6th Gen Engine Performance section, and was checking out the DA calculator... I entered in all the info exactly as it was that night as well as my E.T & MPH, and am VERY happy now that I see a "corrected E.T." of... wait for it... drum roll..... 14.71 @ 95.30 MPH. That's a big piece of alright as far as I'm concerned... long as that calculator is semi-accurate. I knew it was hot as balls and humid as a mofo, which OBVIOUSLY has a negative affect on running at the track and trying for a good time. That's a bit closer(a little better if I'm honest) to what I expected to run... Of course, what I expected did not take into account the difference in the weather from the last time out until now ... Will definitely be going back out before long for another go... hopefully with a bit less humidity(uh, in south Florida - this time of year, YEAH RIGHT!)... More timeslips to come.......
