Alright guys, I realize this is not news, but I am getting tired of moving threads. This section is for Automotive discussion only. NOT questions about YOUR vehicle. If you have questions about YOUR vehicle, please post them in the proper forum. Thank you!

The automotive industry is a term that covers a wide range of companies and organisations involved in the design, development, manufacture, marketing, and selling of motor vehicles, towed vehicles, motorcycles and mopeds. It is one of the world's most important economic sectors by revenue.
The term automotive industry usually does not include industries dedicated to the maintenance of automobiles following delivery to the end-user, such as repair shops

Bump because people are either:
A. Illiterate
B. Don't give a flying eff about the rules

No matter which it is, I have no tolerance. Your improperly placed threads will be deleted with no notice.

Thank you.
So I care about the rules ect. I read through the forum and I couldn't decide the best place for my question. I'm new here as I'm a new owner and just trying to get advice. I tried the best I could so I could get help

I just created a thread for the first time in Automotive Discussion about a door lock and dashboard gage problem I'm having. I just saw this thread about that being the wrong forum.

Could I get a mulligan this once now that I know about the rules and have the thread moved to the proper place by a mod? Sorry about that!

In looking more thoroughly around the forums, it looks like my problem should probably go under "Mechanical and Electrical." But I'm not a forum genius and am only guessing.

For those just joining us, this post serves as a reminder:

Alright guys, I realize this is not news, but I am getting tired of moving threads. This section is for Automotive discussion only. NOT questions about YOUR vehicle. If you have questions about YOUR vehicle, please post them in the proper forum.

Due to the widespread inability to read stickies or forum descriptions, EVERY thread that is attempted to be posted in Auto Discussion will have to approved by a mod/admin. So, please...think twice before posting topics in the wrong forum. Thank you!
