2008 impala no start after crank shaft position sensor

Need help y it will not start know.

What year and engine do you have? Some cars had two of these sensors - where was yours located? Have you checked the connector to be sure it is fully seated?

It has the 3.5 engine.

it actually has two one for the crank and one for the cam. the one behind the power steering is the cam the one corner of the crank pully is for the crank sensor. I had to replace both on my monte carlo with the same engine. just to get it started and running it is weird that they would do that but the crank one is actually by the crank a little easy to get to compared to the cam sensor that is behind the power steering
