Suggestions on where to mount amps in trunk? 06

I currently have an amp for my subwoofers that I have just been keeping tight between my subs and the wall of the trunk (Terribad, I know), but I'm upgrading to a Aftermarket HU and I'm going to add a 4 channel amp for my speakers. Looking around, it doesn't seem like I have many options on where to screw it into between the shape of the sides, the big gap for the donut and all the space in the rear deck. Any suggestions? Pics would be nice.

I built an amp rack for the other that fits between my rear seat and my sub box. Just a carpeted piece of MDF to keep the amp from being mounted on the box itself.

I spent the past few hours mounting the mono block to the rear deck like RYD Slo suggested. But what I may do is spring for the extra, get a mini 4channel amp and mount it in that smaller area on the side.

Slo, do you ever have issues with it loosening from the vibrations?

Nope, never had any issues with it. Been that way for over 2 years.

FWIW, here's a write-up I did on one of my installations. It has two amps mounted in a box behind the seat. The wiring harness has enough service loop to allow it the box to be moved if necessary.

That all looks awesome, I especially like what you did with the sub. I've actually thought about just removing my back seats so I can have it hit in the cabin harder.

Sadly, I don't have the technical skill or tools to complete more than half of it. It's still a really good idea, though, and I may bookmark it for future reference anyway.

Thanks a bunch

I have 3 amps so I had to build this rack and decided to hide the subs behind the amps so I would still have a little trunk space. The rack is attached to the sub box with quick release brackets.

Thanks. All the crossovers, fuse blocks, distribution blocks and remote turn on relays are mounted on the backside of the amp board. I didn't want any visible wires. There is about 18" of space between the subs and the amp board. The mess of wires you can see is on either side of the sub box. I left all the wires long enough to take the amp board out of the trunk and set it on the ground in case I need access to the spare tire. I learned I need access to the tire the hard way many years ago.

Looks like yours comes out about as far as mine does. Although I have not tried, I should be able to maneuver the spare out of the slot without removing the box. If not, the front panel on mine is easily removed with Velcro, and that should definitely give me enough room to get the spare out.

Clean amp rack. I'm thinking of a similar rack but I want my amps facing the inside of the car, and I want my speakers inside the trunk with a wall so you can't see behind it.
