Question 2012 Impala LT power port question

So a few days ago I bought a 2012 Impala LT and I'm loving it. That being said, I like my music as much as the next person and unfortunately, the previous owner broke the aux port on the radio. I have a bluetooth/fm transmitter that I'm using but I was wondering, do any of the power ports turn on on ignition? Or are they all always on? My fm transmitter has an on/off switch, but I noticed that the blue lights near the port (on the device) stay on even when its off which means it still draws current. I would like to leave it plugged in all the time but I don't wanna drain my battery. Any help?

The power ports are *always on* in these cars.

Do you think an FM transmitter will be an issue if left plugged in but off? Such as draining the battery?

I'm not familiar with these devices, but if they have a power swith, then I think it's safe to assume that they will use very little power while turned off. The LED that remains lit is probably no different than the LED's on charger cables. So you'd probably be fine if you turn the device off...
