Here's a link to a master plasti-dip user, you can learn any and everything about plastidip and how to use it. The site also has an order area where you purchase plastidip in various colors and also some custom colors. There are a ton of how-to videos and pictures of other peoples cars with plastidip on them. That looks really cool, but I'd probably just keep the edging the silver and make the middle cap black also.

goodluck with that, you have to either cut it carefully with a razor or take the paint off wet and even that is risky, watch the vids on the site and you will see.

So I can't remember who it was, whether it was wimpyimpy or impss but a long time ago we were talking about plasti dipping rims and some of the feedback was that it wasn't a smart choice to do so if you lived on or drove on dirt roads frequently because the dirt would become embedded into the dip itself. Is that still the case?

if you clean it once a week its not really a problem, those guys neglected to take steps to keep their cars clean.

Look at my wheels. Its a pita. You need to tape the lip and peel it off while the final coat is still wet, so you cant let any the coats dry too quick.
