Summit white vs Olympic white

I am wondering I cracked my passenger side rocker molding on my 2013 Chevrolet impala and my paint color is Olympic white, I found one from a 2010 Chevrolet impala but it is summit white, does anyone know if they are they the same color.

Thank you

I believe that they are the exact same color - just a different name. I went through the same thing with my 2012 and eventually found that they were the same color.

take note that the newer body molding may not be an exact match. another recent topic of the same nature found there may have been different feature lines, so look out for that.

^^Very good point! I think the 2010 may have a different style of rocker modling. For some reason, I think the change was in 2011. You wouldn't want to get one from a 2010 and find out that they are different styles! :-)

Ok, that does look like the new style rocker, so I think you should be OK.

i wouldn't think so. just metal clips that pinch it in place down the rocker then you would have your mounting points at the front and rear. i would imagine those are a star or phillips bit. take a look at your existing side and see where it mounts to.

periodically when i'm under the impala i push the clips back into place so they don't walk off on me. your biggest issue i'd imagine is just getting it into alignment while installing it. a second set of hands might be useful since the piece is so long.

Can't you just use the clips that are on your current cracked piece? Just unclip them and put the new one on using those same clips...
