Looking at ways to mod my 02 impala.

thought of doing the quad tail light mod, as I have seen it in person and love it, not to mention theres great write ups on it, but Im still undecided.

anyone ever get rid of the entire trunk section of the lights?
just paint them or wrap them... something like the picture here... ?
(although im pretty sure they were trying to rip off skyline styling)

thoughts?

Never seen that before to be honest.
I am doing the quad mod with sequential blinks soon. I think that’s the easiest.

It's funny - I have an 8th gen and wish the rear lights looked like they did on the 7th gen - and you're trying to make the 7th gen look more like the 8th gen! ;-)

I've always liked the way the 7th gen had the trunk lid more "integrated" with the taillights!

Ive always thought that the rear end of the 7th gen looked kinda cheap...

I guess its bc the "dummy" lights that chevy put into the trunk area.... seems like if they were going to put a brake light and reverse lights in the trunk deck they couldve easily put a tail light in... or hell even made the dummies a brake light only, that'd have been better than just putting a big round nothing with a reverse light in it.
Just kinda seemed unfinished to me.
I like the quad tail light mod, although it doesnt really help the over all look in daylight hours. Just want to do something different... not sure what. I kinda like the look of 2 separate lights. hell I'd like the block off plate from the lsx to cover the reverse lights as well... not sure what im going to do....

I was just wondering what other people did or thought about it. (I was actually heart set on a 8th gen impala but I found this 7th gen with literally NO miles on it what so ever so I couldnt pass it up)
