Hey everyone,

Just wondering, has anyone tried to figure out how to add the hidden compartment behind the radio?

Does the compartment come with that whole setup? I currently have the 4in screen setup w/o the hidden compartment. I'm looking into getting the 8in io6 mylink nav setup with the apple carplay and all the other features. Trying to figure out how the hidden compartment is setup

It came with my car

But after the investment of upgrading to that system you’re almost better off trading your car for one with one in it already

You’re talking almost $2000 to do the changeover I think the screen alone is $1400 that you need to bring to the unit which with Apple CarPlay is another thousand dollars

After searching online

Here’s the link for the stuff u would need.

https://www.infotainment.com/produc...-navigation-radio-upgrade?variant=42430643591

Pay close attention to where it says Mylink io3 not compatible for the upgrade.

Read the entire page before u decide to just order stuff since there’s some models not compatible to do this upgrade u need to look and double check.

Good luck hope this helps

It's not only in the LTZ version. It should be in every model besides the LS before 2018.
It looks like even the 2018 LS has it now.

No we use the OnStar turn by turn. Took a little getting used to not seeing a full map but now I love it.
We pay about $270 a year for the full nav package with OnStar and we get about a $40 a year reduction insurance I believe it is through USAA for having OnStar so comes out to about $230 a year total what is spent on OnStar.

Yea that's what I thought too, but it works like a charm.
