Really only has like 1.5"-2" of extra ride before the tires would rub anyhow, but to each their own. Someone posted about it somewhere here in this forum earlier kliang but no updates since then.

I own a 2014 Impala 2LTZ with the (stock) 19" wheels and tires. I can't imagine lowering the car. GM did an excellent job of designing the suspension for this car. I have never understood why people alter the suspensions of basic cars such as a 4-door sedan. To each his own I guess.
