Ditto Ditto Ditto; 2014 Impala, same issues, same problem, dealer says $1200 to fix it by replacing both modules and connectors and says GM has been paying partial repairs on some vehicles do to the safety issues, outside of warranty; limp mode, won't start, won't stop, wife will not drive the car anymore, afraid of getting stranded on a cold Minnesota night, can't blame her.

GM customer service tells me they will not cover anything as the car is outside of the bumper to bumper warranty, safety issue or no safety issue!? Drove GM for many years until this happened back in the 80's drove Toyota's, Mazda's and Honda's ever since with zero issues repeat ZERO issues until this Impala.

Looks like I will be going back to the foreign brands as this is the 4th time I have had this car go into limp mode or fail to start to some sensor issue or another in less than 4 months.

hat a disaster of a car or is it the brand?
