why is it that 24'' rims/wheels can easily fit onto a dodge charger but not an 02
chevy impala? i have seen impala's on 26'' wheels, but it needs a lift. i was wondering why chargers can fit 24''s with no lift, but impala need a lift, it can only fit 22''s max without a lift?

Answer #1 is correct. Mfgs. just don't plan for Wheel size increases.

Smaller wheel well ,not really sure but that may be a factor.

Its just the difference in the wheel wells. Dodge thought ahead and made the clearance to fit larger tires because they wanted to "break" into the police cruiser profile for the Charger.

they are 2 different manufacturers so the frame on the body will be different on the impala. or you just need to get a different front bumper fo the wheel will fit. you should look at the bolt pattern on the rim it could be different that that of the impala.
