20 x 9 inch limited 701 series rims with
245/35/20 tires on a 2007 impala LS without modifications?

I don't see why not. I am running 20x9 with 245/35/20 on my 2000 impala. and 07 is the new style right? they have a bigger radius. I had to roll my back fenders cuz they would cut my tire.

20" should be fine...IMO 20" wheels are the biggest u wanna go without looking too big..try to go lightweight if u could...
