I'd post mine but it's all in peices right now. The frame goes in next week for blasting and powder coating, I be posting pictures of the progress.

I am jealous! I wish mine was taken apart. I am getting my Camaro sold so I can dump that money into my Impala and Subaru. I want to wrap my frame this winter.

I was going to wrap my frame but I don't plan on beating on this one, I have done a 4" step notch for the rearend. I have a set of Foose Legends 18" fronts and 20" rears and I'm hoping to lay the frame on the ground all aired out. The tires I mounted are insane 325/25/20 rear and 265/35/18 fronts. I am raising and widening the rear wheel tubs. The motor came outta my 71 Chevelle SS LS6 car, I ran a 383 stroker for the last 6 months waiting to rebuild the LS6. LS6 is done and going back into the Chevelle and the 383 is going in the Wagon, dynoed at 461RWHP and a 200 shot of NOS. All my cars go through a full rotiserie restore. My plan is for a protour look. I am also currently building a 76 Austin Mini with a turbo'd Vtec, LMAO people won't know what the heck just flew past them.
If you have the time full ground up restores on these wagon is well worth it. They can and will fetch good money if done right.

One other thing to add, these wagons are probly one of the hardest things to find parts for. Right now I am having a heck of a time finding the two rear peices of glass and the rear window. I am converting my 4dr wagon to a 2dr wagon and it has crossed my mind to turn it into a panel delivery style since the glass is so hard to find and since the rear wraps around no one around here wants to try to make the rear side glass.

You def have a lot going on. Have you tried going to Car-Part.com? It's online link to all junk yards inventory all over the US. But I think a panel wagon would be sick! I want to get a frame and wrap it so I can transfer everything onto it. I want to pull the body off and get it fully restored. The engine is a new 327, and the car itself has only 80k on it. I got the car for a steal cause he thought the tranny was blown. The torque converter bolts vibrated out from 3 wheelin around a corner =) I put thread lock on some new bolts and was on the road. It is going to be a long project due to lack of funds, but it is going to be sweet. I got it to do a standing 3 wheel last night! Then the bracket/bolt for the trailing arm and shock broke just after that. So I am on the search for parts too =( I will put some pics of the 3 wheel in my garage today.

I also forgot, the reason I don't know HP is we don't have any dyno's up here. And I want to get it nice and built before I even do that. And as for the Mini, RIGHT ON! Those are awesome! I love my Subaru to death. Everyone wants to race ( haha I'll beat them cause they drive a wagon) but they get smoked!

Classic Impala Wagons are a rare breed.

I agree not my style, year of wagon here either. 50s and 60s are in my mind the best. Funny story about the torque converter, first time we ran the Chevelle on the dyno I broke a flywheel. I had a factory one installed and when I hit the NOS it just flew apart, went out and bought a Moroso one and everything is all good now. This 383 in my opinion is a little extreme for the wagon but who says you need to use the power all the time, it's just nice to have there when some punk with a Mustang thinks he's king sh!t.
LMAO I bought this 4dr parts car for $300 and scored huge !!! Mint grill, great windsheild, mint hood, chrome dash pods and best of all 12 bolt posi rearend !!!! What an awesome find, it's turns out this was a 348 car (motor and trans missing) and stock they came with 12 bolt rear's.
