I just can't get over the fact that it doesn't look real... Like the car doesn't even look functional with those wheels. The car looks good. I like the wheels only if they were smaller... 22's are as big as I would ever go.

I've seen this on Craigslist before. Makes me sick. That was a perfectly good b-body wagon, which are getting VERY hard to find in good shape anymore, and now it's virtually useless. Can't turn very well (or quickly for that matter), can't really drive at highway speeds, and it doesn't even look all that good.

Those same wheels in 20s or 22s would look AWESOME and it would still be 100% functional.

Oh, I definitely get the "do what makes you happy."

I just wish they didn't do it to a B wagon. That was my first car, so it holds a special place in my heart, and they're really a nice looking car. The fact that I want to own another one some day, and that they're so hard to find (and when you do find them, they're usually either pretty beat up, or cut up to fit huge wheels like this), it's just lowering my chances of getting another one at a reasonable price some day.

If this was a crown vic, or even a sedan caprice, I'd be much more inclined to say "not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate it."

Really??

Just didn't realize you had actually gone out and cut the fenders up to fit them. We were this close to having a donk on the site

While everyone is free to do as they please, I personally think it just looks stupid. Just like anything else in life, moderation is key. Go too far overboard and you ruin the idea, which is exactly what happens when you get huge wheels on car that wasn't designed for them.

Besides it looking stupid, it's also un-realistic for a daily-driver and I would even go as far to say it's a safety issue. With those tiny tires, I would imagine that hitting even a small pothole could cause a major accident at highway speeds!

Just don't see any "pros" at all... Again, just my opinion.

Guess you just don't understand.

It's funny, the rear wheels had those skirts on the sedans in 91 and 92 only, but the wagons carried them through 96.

I love the skirts, and the whole shape of the car. IMO, the wagon looks better than most of the sedans. Long and low :eek:k3:

Yeah, I like the blue they used, but I'm not a huge fan of the green. But if someone gave it to me but said you can't change anything, I certainly wouldn't turn that down!
