1st Gen wire wheels for sale

Hello Chevy friends,

This is my first post on this forum and it sure looks chock-full of great info. I'm usually on the Corvair forum because I am restoring a 64 Spyder vert, but a 65 Impala is also on my short list of future hopeful restos.

In the meantime, I have a set of 14" wire wheel covers that came in the trunk of my Spyder, but don't fit the 13" wheels. I believe they were originally for 62 - 63 Impalas and other full or mid-size Chevys.

I've listed them on eBay with a very fair reserve because I want to sell them in order to buy some other parts. They are not the correct style for any Corvair after '63, so most of the Vair guys are not interested.

Forum won't let me post a link since this is first post. EBay item # is 280351073009 in case any of you are interested. They are in very good condition.

Thanks,
Mark

Wedebrook,

Thanks for posting the link. These covers really should be on somebody's car.

Mark

Don't let them go to cheap..if those are the ones that go about 6 lbs apiece someone should pick them up, they look in good shape. I'd have run them on my '65 if I hadn't gone with 15" rally's.
