Restoration parts help...I need basically
the entire car, LOL. I have a painted shell that is ready to be put back together, but I need to find the best deal on the parts I need. I have seat shells and such, but I need the entire interior, including steering column, steering wheel, all buttons, switches, knobs...basically everything. I've priced the parts through Hubbards Impala parts and the total comes to around $12,000 for everything, not including drivetrain or glass. Where would you guys suggest I shop? I was thinking that if I could find a wrecked 64 SS with all good stuff that might be the way to go...but no luck so far finding that. Suggestions?

Also try this one:
http://www.carsandpartsrequest.com/c.../requester.cgi You fill out the information and the salvage yards will contact you regarding what they have and what they want for the item(s). __________________ 1977 Impala Sedan, 5.0L, TH200, 3.25:1, 82K miles, 27 Lifetime Warranty Parts. Junk Yards - thing of the past in So Jersey
Junk yards are a great help but in South Jersey the State has shut most of them down for the "enviroment". Any other suggestions?? We have a 65 Impala SS Conv.
Thanks

I would say if you don't wanna pay 12 000$ to fix the ol' lady up, find yourself a junkyard and yank out your stuff, it'll be cheaper, will require more elbow grease but well worth it IMO.
