Welcome to the forum. I don't at all want to burst your bubble, but I don't see how you're going to find a true 1964 super sport in the condition you want and intact motor and tranny, for the price you are talking about. It would be way more than a fixer upper for that amount, if you can find one. I think it's super nice that you are trying to do this, but I'm just letting you know you've got a difficult task here.

2009 Impala SS (sold 3/2012);
2014 Impala Limited LTZ
2010 Buick Enclave CXL;
2010 Lincoln MKS AWD Twin Turbo, Livernois Motor Sports tuned, 0-60 in 3.94 seconds , 1/4 mile 12.80 @ 104 MPH

I agree. For that price I would more concentrate on the car itself and not the engine and trans which can be found almost anywhere, although even then you probably need to raise it to at least $1500, and it will be pretty rough to boot. Don't forget about a good Title to go with it as well.

Also, there is actually no such thing as an SS Sedan. All Impala SS cars in '64 are 2-Door Hard Tops.
