I'll show that one to my friend and see if he wants to track down his dads old POS 4 banger mustang... Maybe not. My dad used to have a 65 impala though, but before my time, always wished I could have seen it. By the time I came around, we had a vega wagon, and a luv.

I have my dad's 1987 Nissan Diesel Pick Up
The parts are pretty much made of Unobtainium now but I keep it going and it's my daily driver.

I don't know if I could ever part with it
Have more $$$'s tied up in spares for it than it's worth

But,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It's a guy thing I guess

Great video. I forget where I saw it first, but it was actually touching. Very neat too.

I was watching Barrett Jackson a couple years ago (2 - 3) and Mike Joy was sitting the back of an old Spitfire sports car. He was kind of sideways in behind the seats. He was saying that his dad had one of these ( same color yr etc ) when he was a kid and would ride back there with his dad driving and his brother in the passenger side.
He went on about how much fun they would have on their outings and what he would give for just one more ride like that.
It was quite touching actually and you could see and hear that with the way Mike was telling it.
Like him or hate him ( Mike Joy ) it was a pretty cool piece he did.

Much the same kind of thing as this video.

I tried to find it on Google/YouTube/Speed/BJ's website etc. but could not find it.

I'd love to be able to track down my dad's 1st car - 57 Chevy Bel Air 150/210. The classic Bel Air that everyone thinks of when you say "Bel Air". I've seen pictures - red on red with the chrome everywhere. 4 BBL 283 under the hood. After everything he's done for me over the years, I'd give my right nut to be able to make that happen for him!

Neither of my sons will ever get my Vette, after I'm gone, it goes to my Wife, then to my Brother, then to his oldest son. My oldest son introduced me to his husband at my Mother's Funeral and the other son, at 23, still doesn't realize you have to work to get money to put a roof over your head.

LOL, my dad actually bought a 74 Mustang with the 4 banger/4 speed trans. He even out ran some cops and would have if he had not made a wrong turn and ran into a road block. The cop after taking his keys dismissed the other officers and wanted to know what my dad had under the hood. The cop decided he did not want to explain to his bosses how a 4 banger almost out ran his Intercepter so he let my dad go. I do remember it being a dark blue. Though I won't be able to find it since he blew up the motor in Germany a few years later.
