Why does everyone here hate on the Mustang so much? - Page 23

Me personally, I can appreciate the stang for a nicely engineered car and see that they did their homework with it, but because I've had nothing but problems with past Fords, it just leaves a sour taste in my mouth so that I can't possibly ever justify dropping a bucket load of money on buying one.

I agree. Stangs are good cars for their price and everything. But I seems like their always broke/ really expensive to fix. Not sayin ours are ANY better. But at least we can fit 5/6 people in our cars COMFORTABLY (that word looks wrong) and at least every girl in the world doesn't have an imp. I would take my car over a GT any day. Buttt, the stangs can sound sooooo sexy. Which I love bout them.

I agree with you, My first car was a 99 Stang GT. I wouldn't say I miss it but I did enjoy it, haha. Room wise? You can only fit 3 MAX if you're a big guy like me. I got my Impala and I wouldn't trade it for a Stang.

My sister had a 2005 mustang and when we all tried to pile into it. It was HORRIBLE. lol. But as I've said, they are really good cars. I think its more of a personal preference though.

^^ That's exactly what it boils down to, and a lot has to do what you grew up with. If you've never had any Ford problems, you probably like them. I've had a lot, so my opinion isn't worth anything because it will always be biased against Ford.

I can't say much, I grew up on a farm so we had all kinds. Fords, dodges, chevys and John deeres. Lol. But I was always more of a Chevy fan. Never had anything but problems with dodge, ford not so bad but still worse than any Chevy we had.

Funny, almost all the 8th gen SS's I see around here are driven by old people.

yeah, I got rid of mine to get into a young persons type car.....

I was also at the ford dealer today, test driving a 2013 s h o, they had every type of mustang under the sun..... not a single 1 visually excited me. I will say, the prices are very competitive for the amount of HP and performance that you get.

I liked it, same powerplant as my MKS Ecoboost. For some reason I have this vision in my head of an all black s h o, with black perma- chrome rims, dark tint, and white calipers. I dont think I am really going to do it , they are a lot of money new. Maybe used in 18 months. Another reason I actually drove it was because I got a coupon in the mail, as a Lincoln owner, a loyalty program, where if I test drove any 2013 model, I got a gift certificate for Maui Jim sunglasses of my choosing up to $269.00. :)
