Some Cool Photos

If you have some cool non car related pictures that you have taken and you want to share them then post them here!

Yesterday was nice and warm so I decided to do a little hiking at Otter Creek after work. I grabbed my camera and off I went into the woods. I got to this spot called the Valley Overlook and took the first pic. A few minutes later I heard something and zoomed in with my camera and got pic #2. He came flying by me pretty close and I was able to get a few more good pics before he was gone. As he was leaving I was able to capture him and a plane in the same shot. (pic#7) I have seen helicopters and planes many many times before so I dont know why this was any different. But it was. It was just a moment where I thought to myself, that was pretty f#@#in cool.
And thats what I said out loud as I stood there on top of that hill in the middle of the woods.
That was pretty f#@#in cool!

Here's some more. Sorry, I got a little carried away with all the pics, but you are all welcome to using any of them for backgrounds.

dammmmmmmmn dudes. these are some NICE pics!
Steven - Sick pics dude!
Don - Sick man. idk if its just me but i feel like the first one is a great shot, but could be a little clearer. the lake ones in the begining with the ice are SO sick. idk if you know a lot about photography. i dont, but i think the time you took those pictures at is called the "blue hour" or something similar, someone correct me if im wrong. its the time where you get those sick colors like that. idk if you did it on purpose or not haha. Love the chicago shots, some of those are amazing dude.

Tony - Sick pics man. Arent you glad you dont have a nasty cigarette in your hand in that pic with nick? or do you have one and thats why your arm is on the railing? haha
I have what I think are some pretty sick pics. but do i have to resize em or no???

Thanks, those are all a combination of cell pics, crappy old digital cam pics and my dad's nice cam pics. None are with my new camera, though. These are all like 0-5 y/o. Here's some with the new cam.

Wally, depending upon the pictures original size is how I would determine the need to resize. My camera has tons of different size settings. I take pictures in 4000x3000 and then I make a copy and resize the ones I want to 1024x768. If you do not plan to use the pictures for prints then you can just set your camera to 1024x768 or equivalent.
These pics were taken at different times/days/years with 2 different camera's. The last picture was taken years ago with a cheap disposable camera.
None of my pics are edited with the exception of the last pic. That picture has been edited.
Thanks for the comments. Todd, you crack me up. I like Don and Tony's pics, especially the scenery pics.
Lookin Good!

Just went out and got some nice shots with the new cam. Not sure how to reduce or rid of the glare, so I apologize for that. The photos are unedited, BTW.
