My niece s cooking dinner. She is just short of being as good a cook as my wife. I am a spoiled man when it comes to food.

Man, we got the summer lightning all night here. I had no idea what thunder really was until I moved to the south. Holy crap... I can never go to California "thunder". It is weak.

Been a couple months since we had any good thunder, it's rare here anyway. But last time, it was shaking my apartment building. It was awesome, even if my dog didn't think so...

I changed out my hids tonight. I nearly hit someone last night walking along the side of the road because the beam pattern off to the right side was crap. So I got a couple new halogen lights today at work. The boat floating part was that my six year old sister wanted to help bubba. She is doing physical therapy right now for her arm that was broken, so I thought it would be a good activity for the fine motor skills in that arm, turning the screws to unbolt the lights and the fan shroud to get the relay harness out, and turning the ratchet to work out her elbow and wrist. Not to mention the whole bonding thing with her. It was great. She loved doing it. She also wanted to check all of the fluids while we were under there, and help me wipe down the engine bay. She had a bunch of questions about how the stuff works too. It was a lot of fun.
