I have a special tool for my man rage in my garage. An anvil and a lead mallet. The lead mallet makes a very satisfying thud when hitting the anvil.

I just found out that Carol Shelby passed away in May of this year.

How did I miss this? I mean I got an issue from Hot Rod that featured him and his legacy, but said nothing about him dieing.

All BS about F*rd aside (According to HR, Shelby actually approached GM first but was turned down), the man was THE Legend in car performance. Thank you Mr. Shelby for all you did for Car Guys and the automobile.

A lot of people don't like him, say he's overrated. I at one time was one of those people. They, like me, need to read in on his real history. He was truly a legend.

yeah, I admired Shelby for what he accomplished. He certainly got a lot of publicity, especially for being the oldest living heart transplant survivor (at the time). He was just an inspirational guy... loved racing, then started building cars and so on. Truly a legend indeed.

Not making money/ not getting paid for the work I've done AT WORK pisses me off...

Oh and all these "Boyfriends should do this" pics my friend on FB keeps liking... they keep showing up. "A girl's problem is that she gets hurt by the one she loves. A boy's problem is he hurts everyone he loves"..... seriously? Can you tell it's some girl around 13 years old with no common sense making these up? It just pisses me off that people are making it a well established truth. whatever, dumb shit anyway.

You THINK it don't taste right because you haven't REALLY tasted it in YEARS!!! Your tastebuds are now working PROPERLY, and it seems weird! You'll get used to it. Let them adjust!

I hate that I have to replace the window motor on my side. (I think you can guess which that is) And the other three are probably close to factory new. Oh the joys of owning an ex cop car....

Now that I got that fixed... I hate that I'll have to put off my trip to Maine for a whole month, again... This time for money, movie, and car show reasons. I want to take the cuda to Iola, I want to see tdkr with my friends down here when it opens, and I have to pay my insurance this month (the reason I wanted to go in June to begin with). And I can't go at the end of the month because my friend will be away for two weeks until the 4th of august and is leaving on the 22 of July.

Supposed to rain in the 4th. Last time it did, between the thunder and fireworks, it sounded like a bombing in WWII... lol

Went to Toad Suck Harley Davidson today. Found a Road Glide that I fell in love with. Grinds my gears because I swore I would not get back on a bike again after I wrecked my Sportster. How stupid can I be? I got the bug again as soon as I threw my leg over it, sat down and put my hands on the bars. I have been obsessing about it since I left there almost 4 hours ago.

my friend recently was accepted as part of the town Fire Department and he was on Ambulance duty a few nights ago and they responded to a "Harley meets mini van" call... the guy from the bike got in the abulance on the stretcher and handed my friend HIS TEETH, saying "hang on to these for me"........ yeahhhhh, not feeling the need for a bike any time soon...
