2013 Charleston Rod Run & Doo-Wop

I went to the big Doo-Wop car show in Charleston yesterday, and once again I'm floored by how many cars were there, and the diversity of those cars. There were lifted trucks and SUVs, hot rods, rat rods, resto mods, original or restored cars, late models, you name it, it was there. I didn't take too many pictures, but I'll post some of the better ones here. Here's the first batch:

I like the old top fuel rail.

Some nice pieces there and you still got summer from the looks of it.

Yeah, it was hot and humid yesterday. I'm pretty sure the high drops 20 degrees tomorrow.

Wow great pics... Thanks!

I love the old C10. Man what a sweet ride

Caddy was runner up. Clean and sharp.

Del Sol brought back some old memories... Used to run my 92 Mitsubishi GST against them on the streets.

Let's be honest they are all sweet rides... Give my left nut for anyone of them lol :D

There is definitely some great stuff, and the Caddy and C10 were two of my favorites. I'll put some more pics up soon.

I know! If I had money, I would have taken a serious look at it. It's the nicest 77 I've ever seen around here.

I love the XLR. I know it's not very popular, but the XLR was a cool ride.

Yeah, It's a V. What was the difference between the regular XLR and the XLR-V?

Hmm, I looked on Autotrader, and regular XLRs are surprisingly cheap now.
