So yesterday I found a third hole in my exhaust system (I've patched new pipe into it twice previously) and I said to hell with it and bought a whole new exhaust system. The old system was a Y collector to a 2" pipe and a single glasspack muffler. Now I have a true dual setup with 2" pipes and 2 Super-Z mufflers. It exits on the side of the car on an angle behind the back wheels. 2" 45 degree cut T-304 stainless tips as well. Noticed an increase in "pep" as well as a whole different sound. Before it was very quiet even with the glasspack muffler but now you can actually hear it. It's still quiet enough not to interfere with the top down while cruising but when you get on the gas you really know it's there. The tone is also MUCH deeper and it sounds a lot better. No pics yet (camera cord is at old house still) but I'll throw up some pics and a video probably later tonight for everyone to enjoy. The shop I took it to did a beautiful job on the whole thing so I have to show it off lol. Stay tuned.
