Service Traction Control

Yesterday I was driving along just fine and my "Service Traction Control" waring came on. When I stopped at the next street light my car started to idle low and almost died. I drove straight home (only a couple blocks). It sounds like it is misfiring. The exhaust smells bad and the car barely started back up. Any suggestions? Since the service engine light is not on will it give a code? Any help would be very helpful

44k miles and a cat out already? doubt it

If so they have a 10yr 100k mile warranty
