2009 Impala Heated Seats

Hi,
I'm having problems with the heated driver seat in my 09 ss. When i push the button to turn the seat on the light lights up for 5-10 seconds then goes off. Sometimes it will start to heat up then shut off. It probably wont stay on for longer than 20 seconds at max. It worked last winter but now it is giving me problems. Car has 32,000 miles on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

check the HVAC control head for codes with a Tech2. If no Tech2 available inspect the heated seat elements for an open circuit. More than likely you have either a seat bottom or seat back element open circuited. Keep in mind when electrical testing that the elements are wired in series.
